Jonathan Levi, Founder and CEO, HACERA
Jonathan Levi is an early blockchain veteran, who helped shape the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Fabric, an open-source blockchain platform used by such tech organizations as IBM, Cisco, and Intel. Jonathan is the founder and CEO of HACERA, which developed a revolutionary blockchain technology designed to support blockchain solutions in regulated markets and enable organizations to build and deploy fully-fledged blockchain applications on their platform of choice.
A software engineer, mathematician, and applied cryptographer, Jonathan Levi exited Stanford University with a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics to focus on blockchain technology. Jonathan has over a decade of experience in both the financial industry, working on global quantitative risk management systems at Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, and Standard & Poor’s, as well as a decentralized blockchain space. Jonathan was elected as one of two official release managers for Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 and is one of 11 members of the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) of Linux Foundation’s HyperledgerTM.
Prior to HACERA, Jonathan’s past ventures included several blockchain technology projects, including an innovative Bitcoin exchange, adding smart contracts on top of Bitcoin’s blockchain before Ethereum was launched, and building the first Ethereum class with Prof. Dan Boneh at Stanford University.
HACERA’s latest project is HACERA Network RegistryTM, a global directory of enterprise-grade blockchain systems. This ecosystem of public and private blockchain networks will provide a global, trusted space for business transactions and information exchange.
